I have been practicing in Anchorage & Eagle River since obtaining my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1992. Although most of my patients have been dogs and cats, I also have extensive experience working with birds, ferrets, rabbits or other small mammals. I am trained in acupuncture and herbal medicine as well.
I am a relief veterinarian at the Alaska Sealife Center & have volunteered my services with Bird TLC. Occasionally, I do field necropsies on marine mammals during the summer months.
I am proud to live in Alaska and call it my home. I live in Eagle River and am owned by 3 dogs and 2 cats. Gracie is a sweet Irish Wolfhound, Bella an adorable long-haired dachshund, and Cricket is the best Boston Terrier in the world (can you tell I’m a little partial?). The dogs are supervised by Pie the “old man” cat and the feisty orange tabby Cheetoe.
In my spare time, I love spending time with family and my grandkids. I also love photography, hiking and quilting.
